I am an entrepreneur and consultant. I have the good fortune to have had a wide variety of experiences in work and life. They have taught me that the combination of meaningful connection, positive mission, and the application of business management tools creates a virtuous cycle throwing off social benefit and profit.

My professional background intersects financial services, technology, entrepreneurship, wellness and social change. I’ve started my own ventures and consulted independently on over 100 others around the United States -- for-profit companies, social enterprises, and non-profit organizations. Clients have included: TechForward, Growthink, EKLA Home, William J. Clinton Foundation, Animal Legal Defense Fund, and Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada. My business plan projects have focused on the following areas: new media, technology, sustainability, non-profit, entertainment, retail, and yoga. Prior to consulting, I ran a yoga company in Los Angeles, meditating, learning, and teaching yoga, alongside growing a multi-million dollar business.

Currently, I am an advisor to Blue Drop, a social enterprise developing a low-cost water chlorination system for use in India. I received my MBA from UCLA Anderson in entrepreneurship, where I ran its nationally known business plan competition and served as a teaching assistant and advisor for multiple entrepreneurial courses and programs. These included: Financing the Emerging Enterprise, Venture Initiation, Johnson & Johnson/UCLA Healthcare Executive Program, and Management Development for Entrepreneurs. Since then, I have served as a judge for the business plan competition. I earned my BA from Dartmouth College with high honors
